“A Passing Memory” - new live album by the american singer songwriter Christoper the Conquered - is out on November 11, 2014 and he will be in Italy for the first time for a 3 weeks' tour.

Christopher the Conquered is a songwriter, a recording artist, a singer, a performer, and a pianist. He partners with his instruments and other musicians to tell stories through song that carry himself and my audience together to a place of reflection. His approach is directness, humor, and satire. Musically, he utilizes rock and roll, informed by the American Songbook Tradition, jazz, and the blues to create soulful pop songs.

This new recording features songs from all his albums, as well as his upcoming album, and a completely new song that won’t be on the new record even, all presented in a stripped down manner.

It was recorded on January 31st, 2014 on a reel-to-reel tape machine, at Salisbury House in Des Moines. It is produced by Patrick Tape Fleming (The Poison Control Center, Gloom Balloon).

The first single “What’s the Name of the Town?” is a song about finding your home. Home is not a place, really. Any place can be “home” on any given day, if you allow yourself to truly be there. To be present and aware, and to be grateful for the opportunity to be in that place and to make full use of your presence in that space. To stop wishing you were somewhere else, someone else.
